The REPL Branch Off Clip (RBOC) is mainly used in Telecom Cable Jointing Kits. It is used to separate 2 cores of the cable that are coming out of the joint. Its outer surface is covered with a hot melt adhesive layer.

While the outer sleeve is getting shrunk on the joint, the adhesive melts and holds the 2 branches of the cable together inside the joint.
